Shri Vasantrao Potdar Polytechnic, the flagship Institute of Karnatak Law Society, Belagavi was incepted in the year 1992 as Women’s Polytechnic and later started Co-education in 2000, Institution is affliated to DTE Bangalore and approved by AICTE, NewDelhi. Institute imparts quality education in 5 different streams.

The Department of Civil Engineering started in the year 2010. Department is having well qualified and experienced staff. Department mission is to train the students to have high caliber technical skills and ethical values to face challenges of the future. Department has excellent infrastructure and well organized laboratories to achieve mission. Department has 5 MOU’s with Local consultancies to have hands on practical experience and internships.
